Iโm sorry, but I donโt like this kind of thing
We didnโt sentence him to being raped. If we wanna put that on the books as an option, Iโm open to listening. I think we should have more creative criminal punishments.
But the penalty now for murder is prison, not rape.
@laoccs@TRHLofficial@jemelehill Kyle did not cross state lines with the rifle. He rendered first aid to others at the protest, helped to protect property, extinguished a fire; and in a self-defense situation exercised great discipline and accuracy. He absolutely should be glorified.
@itssanman It looks cool, and nicotine has nootropic effects. All of those things you said are true, and heavily outweigh the benefits in my opinion. But it DOES look cool when you're doing it.
@JanoHispano@Got_Mittens@Jaystopher "Hygiene" just wash your fucking dick, it's not difficult. The foreskin performs important functions and contains a huge amount of nerve endings; so does the frenulum which is destroyed or damaged during circumcision. They're both mutilation and disgusting to perform on minors.
@86rothbard@dannycantalk@JulieBorowski No it doesn't, communists say "it will work if people just X," PRESCRIBING necessary behaviors. Libertarian OBSERVE extant behaviors, saying "people already do Y, but Y is constrained by the state. If we remove the state, people will do Y more."
@86rothbard@dannycantalk@JulieBorowski (yes it's the meme), but actually unironically. You can say we won't even do a revolution, but that is likely a terrible way to begin it. A peaceful secession is much more likely to be viable, and that takes time.
@86rothbard@dannycantalk@JulieBorowski Pure communism doesn't work, because humans don't behave as prescribed in a "classless," stateless system. You need a state to even try to do communism, and then it ceases to be pure communism, and eventually collapses into fascism. Real anarchocapitalism has never been tried 1/X
@86rothbard@dannycantalk@JulieBorowski Ah, okay, I misunderstood your previous post. Yes, getting to Ancapistan from statism is probably the biggest problem with the philosophy. I have a number of ideas regarding that; but you don't seem to think it would work even if we got there.
@86rothbard@dannycantalk@JulieBorowski I didn't get it because that's not even close to what you said.
By what mechanism does the business "disallow" competition? They can't use the state, so they'd need to essentially go to war or launch a secret crime campaign. That costs money. Where are they getting this money?
