“kh4 is a spiritual successor to the mobile games” is very validating as i always felt that was the case since our first look at the game, but damn it really makes you realize that this saga REALLY was supposed to start with Missing Link
This should be reassuring to all the people who are worried about “not knowing” who these characters are
Although they existed prior to 4 you don’t need know them to be able to understand their characters in 4 as they will be explained and likely greatly expanded upon
Nomura: KH4 is, in a sense, a story that follows in the footsteps of the χ series. Those who played the smartphone version to the end will recognize Vali and Sigurd, but even if you haven't played it, don't worry, we've depicted what kind of characters they are within the game.
- Will there be any announcements at the Tokyo Game Show ?
Nomura: the development is in the final stages, so we'll be focusing on that for a while. We're currently considering when to release the next information, so there will probably be a bit of a gap.
Nomura: voice recording for Japanese voices for KH4 is already finished. For English, about 60~70%
The script size for KH4 is almost 2 times that of KH3.
Nomura: I quite like Sigurd
Tai Yasue: Sigurd is definitely good . He has a great personality. I love him too.
Probably a type we haven't seen in Kingdom Hearts before. He's gaining a lot of fans within the company
Nomura: the voice actor's contribution is huge.
Tai Yasue: The progress is going more smoothly than ever before in the history of the Kingdom Hearts series, so you can rest assured about that (releasing in 2027)
Nomura: Dandelion work in cooperation with the Quadratum government. Sora and basically all keyblade wielders who come to Quadratum work with them. More will be announced later.
