Happy New Year!
It's my 10 yr anniversary for going Zero Waste! In the last 10 yrs, my spouse & I have made less than 10 bags of trash! (not counting chicken bones & cat litter). Small changes really can have a huge impact! Special thanks 2 @PhoenixFoodCoOp 4 making it possible❤️

Takeout without the trash! When we order by phone, we ask if we can bring in our own container - all but one restaurant has agreed to directly place food into it, or set it onto reusable dishes until we can transfer it. And 100% success at bakeries and cafes! #PlasticFreeTuesday

I just found out that you can make zero waste Doritos-flavored popcorn and suddenly the world feels like a better place. #ZeroWasteRocks

[Zero Waste Toledo @ZeroWasteToledo]

Pop ⅛ heaping cup popcorn kernels on the stove top with oil (it should make about 4 cups of popped popcorn).

Drizzle 1 tsp oil onto popped popcorn, toss to evenly coat.

Sprinkle the seasoning over the popcorn and toss again to coat evenly. Serve warm.

What do you do with those old socks with holes in them? What about your old undies? Or that shirt with the stain you just can't get out? Some clothing can't be donated... so does it go to landfill? https://t.co/rlFgOeJtdW

[Zero Waste Toledo @ZeroWasteToledo]

Gonna have to break my "buy nothing new" rule for this one 🙂
