@DistantCoder Whereas in Yugioh, luck is only impactful on how you open your hand and win the coinflip. Otherwise, it's less impactful over the course of the game unless you specifically play cards with a luck factor to them

@i_serenity1 This just proves that as card design evolves, Ash just becomes much more worse as a card. Just look at how nice of a handtrap package Synchro Emergency is and now you realize how vulnerable that card is to Ash. Not exactly a good thing to see
@i_serenity1 So what does it say when a card like Ash Blossom stifles this popular design choice and makes the Going Second player instantly lose tempo and potential advantage as their big play ends up stopped by Ash, leading to a game loss because you're down 1 or 2 cards?
