He was free to do so which also means free to leave - him gettin dragged was only to restrain him from aiming or doin anything potentially with it which is ok because you don’t see any actual attacks on his person by the 2 guys 1 actually ran.

@JasonLonano @FightHaven Self defense does not allow for you to walk away get a weapon from a concealed place and return with it which is what he did however in a smaller confined area. Anything they did after he grabbed the weapon is self defense as there was not engagement until he grabbed it

@JasonLonano @FightHaven Incorrect He escalated the situation by gettin the weapon so if he shot anyone it’s actually manslaughter 1 could argue 2nd degree as it wasn’t premeditated but his intent was to intimidate. Lawyer can argue if he had time to go to the car to get it he had time to leave
