I never liked the "comp" or "meta" style of play on 2k. The stage was never fun to me. its so repetitive in terms of gameplay and in lineups. but with sbmm in 2k25 thats what im forced to play against every game. im at a severe disadvantage not running the meta lineup or style of play. i dont want to do that. i just want to hoop with the people i enjoy spending my time with. but i cant enjoy my time playing the game when thats the situation im in. i had to apologize to my irls last night bc i was having them play against mainly red banners in the rec. i have no where to play casually.
