@FracturedOreo Most AI spending/investments are just being funneled through the biggest companies in the world in a giant circle jerk, tech being more expensive is an individual level concern, AI is finding more vulnerabilities in people's own sites than it is on other people's in negative ways

@FracturedOreo Tech getting more expensive isn't a major issue, guardrails will likely prevent breaches (And AI will be capable of putting up better defenses), social & psychological consequences I'm not sure what you mean by, and no this is not true whatsoever lol

@FracturedOreo Most of the issues people have with AI now on an environmental level can be solved by AI as it grows, having agents that are more capable of humans which can work in larger amounts for longer without breaks is the must useful thing humans will ever create

@FracturedOreo I never said it wasn't unethical, my stance is that AI has giant benefits and giant costs, the costs that are usually brought up are wrong, but holding this moral high ground over people who use AI because you don't is ignorant

@FracturedOreo Most of the "ethical" dilemmas people commonly discuss with AI are based on lies, a lack of education on the topic, or just generally false rumors/information, AI in the grand scheme of things is not that bad

And actually on a societal level a huge benefit

@FracturedOreo That might be an even worse point than what I was talking about before lol, fraud has victims, using AI to pump out games does not, you can call it unethical sure but the people who are refusing to adapt will eventually be unable to compete (Sooner than later)

@FracturedOreo AI absorbs so much information that saying what it puts out is stolen is as big of a stretch as saying humans are thieves by nature because they do the same thing (Absorbing information and basing themselves on it)

It's one of the weakest anti-AI arguments you can possibly make
