In light of recent discoveries, Iâm genuinely torn on where I stand right now. Iâm waiting to see a clear statement or meaningful action that shows changes are actually being made. If nothing happens soon, Iâll be stepping down as Partner.
The only reason I havenât done so immediately is because I know it would place pressure on others in the community and potentially put them in an unfair position. Itâs a difficult situation all around.
But unless something changes, I canât continue to be affiliated. This whole thing is sickening.
And silence is not going to make it dissapear under the rug. For people wondering whats going on, i'm sure someone in the comments will enlighten you, I don't want to beat a dead horse.
This is such a horrible situation.
Iâve been a Partner for 6 years, and this program has been a major part of my life and community. But community safety has to come first, without compromise.
At this point, a statement is not enough. We need clear accountability and genuine systemic reform in how the Partner Program and its connected communities are managed.
If there is no visible commitment to meaningful change within the next few days, I will be stepping down from the partner program.
After a lot of thought, Iâve decided to step down from the @SeaOfThieves Partner Program.
I love Sea of Thieves and Iâll always be thankful for the opportunities, friendships, and memories that came from it. But seeing the recent news surrounding someone who was elevated and promoted by members of the CM team has honestly been disgusting. Especially hearing that some people may have known about certain behavior and it was still pushed forward anyway.
As a Christian, I have to stand on what I believe is right. Between this and years of harassment that creators have dealt with while little was done about it, I just canât continue representing the program in good faith anymore.
This wasnât an easy decision because I truly love this game and the community we built around it. But I feel like itâs the right decision for me, my family, and my community moving forward.
Thank you to everyone who supported me through all of it.
Quick rant about the whole doubloons reset
(part 1/3)
So..
- The doubloons reset hasn't worked for everyone...
- Those who didn't got their doubloons reset couldn't earn doubloons during the bilge rat weekender, despite doing the tasks.
- The items that we bought got removed...
(part 2/3)
- The few items giving doubloons don't give doubloons anymore...
- Even if you were reset correctly, you could only farm 3 quests before getting gold only
- And finally there is no bilge rat weekender planned soon (as far as i know)
The @SeaOfThieves doubloon fix is a mess. Players not reset were stuck at the 4k cap, unable to farm. Now youâre removing their items? At the next event, theyâll have to grind double: for the old items AND the new ones. Stop punishing us for your bugs!
