@bkdalli @UvA_Amsterdam That depends on what you want as an employee. I had one day a week research time in Rotterdam for example but since I just switched schools, I wanted to focus on teaching and curriculum dev. alone this year.
@bkdalli @UvA_Amsterdam Well for advancing, you can be hoofddocent or lector (scale 15 or 16). that would be comparable to profs salary wise but ofc there re some diferences in tasks, for example the research youโd do would be more practical research rather than therotical.
@bkdalli @UvA_Amsterdam Its amazing how an assist prof position has the same salary scale as an applied uni starter level lecturer (at most applied unis at least) despite it having huge additinal requirements regarding academic degrees and expertise ๐ค
@Felixvanhoften In any case, only very little percentage of plastic is recycable. Im not saying we shouldnt recycle, but unfortunately recycling is not as easy and common as many think.
We are going back to education on location in small classes with around 25 students, most of whom will most probably not be vaccinated and I dont really feel comfortable with that as a teacher. How is the situation gonna be for you and how do you feel about it? #highereducation

@DaniRabaiotti ah and dry needling. my physiotherapist needled a muscle around my shoulder blade 3 weeks ago and it immediately lifted the pain on my forearm, and the pain didnt come back since then.
@TaryMellers@DaniRabaiotti and if you put the ball in a pillow case, hold from the edge and put it over your shoulder, position the ball, then the ball wont slide. Personally I lie down and keep the ball under my back on constant on pain points because with the wall I donโt feel enough pressure.
@DaniRabaiotti definetely weightlifting exercises (2-3 kgs id say) and regular stretches, key being โregularโ. Lately I neglected exercising and suffering morw lately :(
