@Mr_Maniacal_@charlieINTEL It's even more insane the last Elder Scrolls is single player and came out 2011
or multiplayer and 2014 but that's not made by BGS
Hot take: 16GB of fast RAM is enough for productivity. I did 3D-Rendering, vector graphics, code compiling and 4K AV1 video editing and rendering on an old 4c8t 16GB DDR4-3200 laptop smoothly without issues
The two use cases where 16GB weren't really enough were Ai and gaming
@DeepStarts Yes, because the AI makes mistakes 95% of the time and if you can't code yourself you won't notice them. Just look at how buggy Windows 11 became with just 30% of code being ai
@BDeelena@CodeNamePizza The big similarity between the two is that both are very lore heavy, have lore hidden in easter eggs and invite to discuss and theorize about the lore
@yosp About the boot times, this is a general Linux issue with the initial first time launch of games where shaders must be downloaded and compiled by the system. The loading times from the second launch onwards should be pretty fast
@GTAInfinity_YT Physical SSDs with games would skyrocket pricing for physical games considering the storage chip crisis. Imagine paying $150 for a game ($80 for the software, $70 for SSD)
