Associate Professor, Department of Geography, Texas A&M University. GIS, Spatial Decision Support Systems, CyberGIS, Disaster Resilience, Urban Vulnerability
Today I attended the promotion dinner organized by the College of Arts and Sciences. I am truly honored to be promoted to Associate Professor (with tenure). I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, colleagues, and collaborators for their constant support!
I organized a week-long CyberTraining Summer School at Texas A&M! ๐ Participants from universities and industries across the U.S. gathered at Texas A&M University Department of Geography to learn how to leverage high-performance computing and AI for disaster management!
I received a NSF CAREER award! This project will establish a Hybrid Spatial Decision Support System powered by advanced cyberinfrastructure and Geospatial Artificial Intelligence to better understand water-related hazards in coastal regions.
