@MariamElMasri4 Aren't all characters relatable to some extent? If there's a particular trope for that, then I am not familiar with its mechanics. However, never have I encountered a 100% unrelatable character.

@AndyWirsz But when my WIP didn't have one, I just implied that the characters cannot understand each other cause of a language barrier. A fantasy book tells of stuff that happened in a fictional world using real anguage, so the only plot-relevant point is highlighting language barriers.

@AndyWirsz I don't think it is a must feature in a fantasy book, on the contrary, I think too much of it could be obnoxious actually, scarcely anyone would be interested enough in a fictional language (in most cases). /1
