@GMBCSuperfan@burghbulletin Agree. That being said I’d have him in the lineup against a rightie tonight. Arrighetti is tough gonna have to score some runs. He might give you a bomb
#Pirates thoughts:
* Endy should absolutely get bulk of catching time until he proves otherwise.
* Dotel performance has opened door for Mlod return to rotation if Chandler continues to falter
* At 1/3 point in season team has shown itself to be nothing less than legit contender.
@JamesLarson47 And really my point is… if owners are gonna say their proposal is “all about the fans,” then maybe if they really meant that, they could show that same concern in other areas. All I’m saying.
Trust me I’m in favor of the cap, floor, rev share. Anything to restore competitive balance. But if owners really want to help fans, make ballpark concession pricing more affordable. Or at least require every team to provide a “value menu” like some clubs already do.
MLB wastes no time responding to union chief Bruce Meyer:
‘Our salary cap and floor proposal addresses our fans’ concerns by leveling the playing field while sharing baseball revenue with the players 50/50 like the other leagues. Under our proposal, Major League players will receive more compensation in year one of the system than in 2026. We are ready to listen if the MLBPA wants to counter our proposal at the bargaining table.”
@JamesLarson47 First off, I rarely eat at the ballpark. I go to 30 games a year and always try to eat at home first. But a few cheaper concession items wouldn’t kill them. How about parents leaving work to get to a game w no time to eat? Would $2 hot dogs, popcorn and nachos be such a big deal?
Give it till the end of June, the Reds are gonna show their ass. That offense is lousy and they don’t have the pitching to back it up. Well below .500 by June 30.
