@_HenryMill I feel like there might be a small difference between an all black two piece suit and some of the cutting edge designer clothes Hamilton has worn in the past. Its a dumb quote either way, but a suit is pretty normal all things considered.
@AlexLacl Why does driver loyalty matter? Shouldn't fans want their favorite drivers to constantly search for the fastest cars and best teams? Why are we cheering drivers on for limiting their options to chase greatness?
@F1_driven There are multiple times you can point to Bottas being told to move aside for Hamilton over the radio. There are absolutely contracted 2nd drivers, Red Bull being the most obvious about it among the current top teams, but to pretend Bottas wasn't playing 2nd fiddle is deceitful.
@JosephHeaton90@BigM870202@bavedikian The rule can still be used during the tournament, there is nothing that says it can't. Once they used it to allow people to play in the early stages, the precedent was already set. They pardoned Otamendi and Caicedo the same way did for Ronaldo, along with one of the Qataris.
@notcrazy1speed@swiftfortyfour Because winning the gp has always been heavily weighted in these rankings. Look at past ones, and even the winners who had dubious weekends until the race usually were ranked highest.
@JosephHeaton90@BigM870202@bavedikian The rules also say that a player who receives a red card in the qualifiers misses the next 3 FIFA sanctioned matches. That would have had Ronaldo missing the first 2 group stage games. Instead, FIFA invoked the exact same rule to free him for the entire group stage.
@BigM870202@JosephHeaton90@bavedikian He was supposed to miss 3 games, including the first 2 games of the group stage. Those 2 games were suspended in the same fashion. They are the exact same situation.
@BigM870202@JosephHeaton90@bavedikian They used this exact rule for Ronaldo among others to allow them to play in the World Cup. Nobody complained then.
@TheBosnian11 The var was shown in slow motion, which fifa knows makes challenges look worse than they are, hence it being against procedures. They broke the rules, and the resulting decision was correctly overturned. Cry more while your team sits at home.
