How about this. Shut the fuck up, and continue to make the game that makes the studio the most money and the game the entire fucking community wants. Game is the healthiest it’s been in YEARS. To discontinue it is a fumble the entire industry can’t understand.
Make the game or give the fucking IP to people that actually give a fuck.
@Destiny2Team Can you guys please make the Tower cinematic replayable. Someone reported that they weren’t able to see it to completion. And also it’s just a good cinematic, it HAS to be replayable PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Finally got a chance to check out Monument of Triumph. Here’s my thoughts from a PvP players perspective…
It’s the best update (non campaign/raid) we’ve ever had.
I can actually see Destiny living on for a few years Master Chief Collection style.
I thought this would be my last time playing but I’m excited to log on again which i was not expecting.
I haven’t played in quite some time. But Destiny is like riding a bike. I was quickly reminded it’s got some of the best combat of any FPS. Sure the abilities will always be annoying, but after 12 years you know what to expect.
I would’ve liked to have seen more tweaking, after checkmate, the strike team, etc. it felt like not long ago we were heading towards a more balanced crucible. But again, it’s Destiny. Kinda comes with the territory.
Best thing about this update? You can actually farm good gear by just queing up in the crucible. Every other game I was getting Tier 5 armor drops. And after attuning the Frozen Orbit it was raining God roll Snipers.
Sunsetting was a huge rift in the community but they’ve brought a lot of weapons/armor back and made them better than ever.
And while I didn’t play any PvE/gambit, there is so much good loot to chase I actually look forward to the part of the game that was always secondary to me.
Trials though…I might hop on for one last Flawless but that game mode is cooked. That’s tough because peak Trials legit brought back the feeling of competing at an MLG tournament, but now it just highlights the worst parts of PvP.
Comp > Trials and it’s not even close imo.
D2 will never see another update, but I do think the game lives on and maintains a core community much like Halo MCC. (remember when Bungie moved on from Halo??? Destiny came next…something I think about a lot rn)
For the first time in years, I look forward to playing Destiny and that felt refreshing.
