Putting women first, is important in achieving food security, developing families, communities and nations. At @ZimFarm_Project that is what we are good at!. Through our faming ventures, we are contributing to the development of women in rural Zimbabwe and their food security.

Women are leading from the front, everyday. They are securing their future and that of their children and families. We see it everyday, in the women we work with at our organization, who have been producing food crops like maize,with us,& using the proceeds to better their lives.

2. We are supporting women in rural Mazowe to do this through partnering with them in maize production, for their benefit and for the benefit of their families. All the proceeds made through this initiative go back to directly benefit the women and their communities.

1. Women in Zimbabwe are at the forefront of producing food , they produce, process and prepare the majority of available foods, and are thus key with respect to food security in their families and communities.

An estimated 1⃣4⃣% of the world's food is lost between harvest & the wholesale market.

An estimated 1⃣7⃣% is wasted in retail & at the consumer level.
