Zimbabwe's cabinet has approved draft laws that will allow President Emmerson Mnangagwa, 83, to extend his stay in office until at least 2030. Presidents would be chosen by MPs rather than in a direct vote and could serve a maximum of two seven-year terms.

Video showing Electoral Commission officials ticking all ballot papers in favor of Museveni at a polling station in western Uganda. This is what Museveni and his criminal system call an election! We campaigned. We voted. We tried to protect our vote but the criminals arrested or abducted many of our agents and officials. The only recourse is for the PEOPLE OF UGANDA to reclaim their voice. That is why we called this a PROTEST VOTE.
Please keep those videos coming in - and all other evidence of the theft that took place on the 15th.

STATEMENT
Last night was very difficult at our home in Magere. The military and police raided us. They switched off power and cut off some of our CCTV cameras. There were helicopters hovering over.
I want to confirm that I managed to escape from them. Currently, I am not at home, although my wife and other family members remain under house arrest. I know that these criminals are looking for me everywhere, and I am trying my best to keep safe. I understand that there has been great concern and speculation regarding my whereabouts. Please understand this is the context of a nationwide internet shutdown. Given the commotion that happened at our house at night, and given that no one is allowed to access the house, our neighbours concluded that they had succeeded in abducting us and spread the news.
I reiterate our COMPLETE REJECTION of the fake results Byabakama is reading. In addition to the ballot stuffing, the military take-over of the election, the detention of our leaders and polling officials, and other electoral offences, their results have zero backing!
We condemn the murder of numerous citizens who have thus far attempted to peacefully demonstrate against the broad daylight thuggery. The people of Uganda have the right to protest in defence of their sovereign right to determine a government of their choice - not the kind of criminality we're witnessing.
Aside from the blatant theft of the presidential election, these criminals have employed various fraudulent techniques to usurp the will of the people in numerous constituencies across the country. NUP candidates are being targeted - even when they have 100% evidence that they won. This is absolute madness.
The PEOPLE OF UGANDA WILL ULTIMATELY WIN.
Note: Some of these pictures were taken last night and others today morning.

We feel insulted! Our salaries should not be linked to the branding of a sitting President who is also a Civil servant like us. @edmnangagwa and his team must respect us as the professionals we are. We thank taxpayers who contribute towards both ED and our own salaries. We are angered that the bulk of taxpayers contributions are being channeled to the politically connected at the expense of hard working Civil Servants. The incumbent President slashed our salaries from USD 540. Inflation has since raised cost of living beyond the 2018 cost of living. This temporary increase of income is a mockery from the elites.
Aeewa! Zvakwana!
Cha! Sekwanele!
Enough is Enough!
We call for the Resignation of ED.

When we say that ZANUPF has failed to run the economy due to incompetence and corrupt rule, there are still a few who are not embarrassed to defend this failed government.
First it was OK Supermarkets; ZANUPF said it was mismanagement. Now it is TM Pick n Pay Zimbabwe, what will they say?
TM Pick n Pay Zimbabwe has said this is caused by Zimbabwe’s hyperinflation and currency volatility. Ignoring these underlying economic issues and engaging in denialism will only prolong the suffering of the Zimbabwean people.
ZANUPF cannot and should not continue with its denialism about its tragic failures and misguided economic policies that have destroyed the economy.
The continued defence of the ZANUPF government’s failures, despite mounting evidence of economic mismanagement, is tragic and truly shocking.
The persistence of ZANUPF apologists in the face of such clear evidence of economic failure raises serious questions about their sanity and their willingness to acknowledge the reality on the ground.
The fact that Pick n Pay South Africa has expressed little optimism for future returns from its Zimbabwean operations, noting that dividends are unlikely and any potential profits would be minimal is an epitaph for the Zimbabwean economy.
It underscores the challenges faced by many foreign investors in Zimbabwe’s volatile economic landscape.
This is Zimbabwe, where massive corruption has collapsed the real social welfare system. The ruling party is exploiting its access to food aid, distributing it on a partisan basis.
When politics is so bad that it makes you this poor, it becomes easier for politicians to manipulate you with food aid.
No matter how well you are as a Zimbabwean who escaped this poverty, you can never feel at ease watching these visuals. It is heartbreaking to see.
Witnessing this immense suffering will evoke a deep sense of unease and pain, even for those who have managed to overcome similar hardships.
Nobody sane and reasonable would be comfortable after watching these painful scenes, it is sad.
It is disheartening to witness the ruling party taking advantage of the dire economic circumstances it authored, using essential resources as a means of political manipulation.
This is today’s Zimbabwe, where politics has become a weapon, not a service.
The real social welfare system, once a promise of dignity and support, has been bled dry by ZANUPF corruption.
In its place, the ruling party dispenses aid like a cruel master flicking crumbs from a table, demanding loyalty before compassion. Sad!!

A South African citizen who had been working in Zimbabwe fell ill, but could not receive necessary medical care there.
As a result, South African authorities had to dispatch a helicopter to retrieve him.
Upon his return, he was received by Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba.
University lecturers at the University of Zimbabwe are embarking on a strike tomorrow. They are paid only US$250 a month.
I support their cause. If you support them too, RETWEET to show them your solidarity!

EMMERSON MNANGAGWA'S 24 KARAT GOLD, custom made, VANITY IPHONE. Mobutu Sese Seko style. How can such a person bother about sanctions or defend the land reform as a democratic nationalist gain of the heroic liberation struggle. It just does not compute. Zimbabwe deserves better!
PLEASE RETWEET, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
This leaked document is a Cabinet memorandum from Zimbabwe’s Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Ziyambi Ziyambi. It proposes undemocratic constitutional amendments with huge implications for Zimbabwe.
These include having Emmerson Mnangagwa as a life president, because at 86, if he gets another three years in office after his term ends in 2028, he will be 92 years old in 2031.
When I broke the story about Members of Parliament being given land in Mabelreign to block any impeachment attempt and to assist the Zimbabwean dictator in securing a term extension, one that would also benefit the crooked MPs, Jonathan Moyo wrote a long article accusing me of misinforming and disinforming the public.
Many, including some who see themselves as opposition, danced to his propaganda piece. I wonder what they will say now that this leaked document confirms my reporting and the indirect intentions of the land grab.
According to this document, Mnangagwa and his surrogates plan to extend the terms of office for the President, Parliament, and Councils by up to three years, through a two-thirds parliamentary vote.
This is why the MPs were illegally given land, it is greenway land, and the allocation was unlawful and had nothing to do with the 2013 land offers to MPs.
As I reported at the time, they plan to postpone elections for that duration.
They also intend to repeal term limit protections in the Zimbabwean Constitution.
They also want to remove Section 328(7), which currently prohibits the retroactive application of term limit amendments.
This means they are attempting to remove a constitutional safeguard that prevents leaders from benefiting from changes to term limits after they are already in office just like they did with the disgraced Zimbabwean Chief Justice, Luke Malaba.
This change would allow the amendments to apply to current officeholders, effectively giving Mnangagwa and the crooked MPs a chance to benefit from extended terms.
They also want to shift voter registration responsibilities from the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) to the Registrar of Births and Deaths.
The direct consequence of this is the postponement of elections by up to three years, which of course is undemocratic.
Stripping ZEC of its voter registration mandate undermines the independence and integrity of the electoral process in Zimbabwe.
The panic that set in after I exposed the land grab in Mabelreign, and the hopeless defences that followed, were clearly not only aimed at labelling me a misinformer, but also revealed the anger felt by the architects of this crooked, unconstitutional, and undemocratic attempt to drag Zimbabwe into becoming a real banana republic when the land documents were leaked to me.
There was a coordinated attack involving Zimbabwe’s Minister of Information, Jenfan Muswere, ZANUPF trolls, and intellectuals for hire praising Jonathan Moyo’s propaganda piece, along with many others who continue to benefit from this crooked regime. Sadly, some naive and opportunistic opposition activists joined in the attack backed by a fake news website.
I now ask the government’s chief propagandist, @nickmangwana, and his various surrogates to tell the nation whether this leaked document is true or not. Silence will confirm the document’s authenticity.
I also ask the opposition MPs in parliament if they will push back or they will grab the opportunity to drink from this poisoned well?
