I added a few more gladys this year, this is Sapporo, A strange but utterly beautiful mix of muted ashy mauve fading into a pale rosy cream, with an almost neon yellow & wine centre😍

@tutty352 There's actually a place on the adjoining road, but I keep forgetting the damn name to be able to look it up so I can contact them 1st to see if that's something any of the residents would like.

Another 3 bouquets went to local residents today - I also did 6 last week, but deleted the pics 😫
I've knocked on all the doors now & this has certainly been an experience & much harder than I anticipated!

@tutty352 I didn't think I'd get done doing this so quickly, but its weekday daytimes & people are out. There's a few houses I'll return to, but I think I'll look into where else I can give bouquets - that I know will actually want them 😂

...Today alone, 5 people didn't want them, one man strangely told me he didnt want them as he is "not a lady" & another man laughed at me and shut the door. But I did manage to give one to a lady who celebrated her bday yesterday, so I'm focusing on the positive! 😂

#RoseAwarenessWeek day 7 - 'Vidal Sassoon' Hybrid tea, a gentle blend of fawn, beige & parchment with pink edges, soft but noticeable fragrance.

#RoseAwarenessWeek day 6 - 'Incognito' miniature #rose, quite a unique and striking colour, a sort of mix of mauve, pink & russet with a yellow reverse.

#RoseAwarenessWeek day 5 - Rachel Louise Moran, hybrid tea - large cream blooms that are heavily stripped & dashed in pink and red, each spectacular bloom is a unique masterpiece 😍

#RoseAwarenessWeek day 4 - 'Minerva' floribunda #Rose, a gorgeous rich Purple & strongly scented. So far she's really earning her keep, giving me constant blooms since starting in May - despite not having full sun.

I've done 6 more bouquets for the residents of Kent Road this week. After giving these 1st 3 bunches earlier this week, I was left feeling a little disheartened as I actually had to convince all 3 people to take the flowers! 🙃😂

@tutty352 I actually brought Jude very recently - along with wollerton old hall, I'm not sure what I think of eithers fragrance, 1st time sniffing jude I thought it smelt like something fruity and washing up liquid & WOH - smelt like perfumed baby powder 😂 but both are gorgeous 😁

As it's #RoseAwarnessWeek I thought I'd share a few of the #Roses from my own garden. I'll start with the ethereal 'Blue Diamond', a pale silvery lilac with gray shading. 💙
