🦟 It doesn’t take a pond to breed mosquitoes.
Even a bottle cap of standing water can be enough for some species.
💧 Dump standing water.
🏠 Clean gutters.
🐦 Refresh birdbaths.
Fewer breeding sites = fewer bites.

Think you’ve found a brown recluse?
Don’t rely on the violin marking alone. Look for:
👀 6 eyes arranged in 3 pairs
🟤 Plain tan to brown body
🚫 No stripes or bands on the legs
Brown recluses are common in Missouri and Kansas but not every brown spider is one.

Worker vs. Soldier Termites
Worker termites do the damage, they feed on wood, build mud tubes, & care for the colony. Soldier termites defend the colony with powerful jaws but can’t feed themselves. They rely on workers to survive. Together, they silently damage a home for years.
