The US and Russia both "attack" civilians.
The question is do those countries "target" civilians?
The main point of demonizing Russia is to nudge us into thinking that RU does, whilst "mitigating civilian harm" is to nudge us into thinking that the US does not.
BREAKING: A new bombshell report reveals that George W. Bush’s DOJ helped assist in Jeffrey Epstein’s 2007 plea negotiations that resulted in his sweetheart deal, per the Miami Herald.
This is totally divorced from the reality of the Israel/Palestine conflict. Right of Return is, at this point, basically a symbolic demand that Israel recognize the illegitimacy of the Nakba. The formulation Palestinians proposed in 2008 was, Israel agrees that refugees have a theoretical right to return, but the exercise of that right in practice can be curtailed to token numbers, with Israel controlling the flow, so that Israel can maintain Jewish demographic supremacy indefinitely. Basically, the Israelis are being asked to give up a little bit of pride in exchange for peace. As such, it's one of the few Palestinian demands which you genuinely cannot claim harms Israeli security.
So, contra what Derek is saying, Right of Return is among the best terms to compromise on. It means very little to Israelis (they keep their land, their security, their Jewish majority) and it means a lot to Palestinians. It's a great place for negotiators to bend.
A year and a half later, this former under-secretary for defence in Tony Blair’s government has not been charged.
Meanwhile, he has been hosted by LBC, though.

Interesting: “Mainstream traditions seems to view our tradition through a largely Mamluk canon of authority…In doing so, we have often lost sight of the Ottoman intellectual world, where Akbarian metaphysics occupied a far more central place within mainstream scholarly culture.”
@SkribzSt The media and the political class are in a marriage, the function of the media is to create popular myths aimed at serving the govt first and informing people second (if that). Peter Obourne's "triumph of the political class" explains this in detail.
People never argue that inequality has gone too far
Yet they’re quick to say equality has
Where’s the evidence?
Are wealth, power, leadership, safety, health, and opportunity now distributed equally?
Discomfort with change is not evidence

It was not China that outsourced American industrial jobs to build an oligarchy. Americans do not need to confront China, they should hold their government accountability.
@mandyarthur Epstein speculated in Dec 2018 messages that if Trump felt "cornered like a rat," he might bomb Iran as a diversion to create a crisis and rally public support. "Cornering a rat, never a good idea."
Neoliberalism has been exposed as a complete sham.
Wealthy countries that preached free markets to the rest of the world are now passionately embracing protectionism.
Scholars like Quinn Slobodian have been proven completely correct when pointing out that the neoliberal project was never simply about “freeing” markets. It was secretly about constructing a world order that locked in the dominance of the West.
Now, the West is dropping the pretence, unapologetically embracing economic nationalism and their desire to preserve Western dominance in the world economy.
my hatred of Zionist scum, particularly those who hide behind liberal, progressive, pseudo-radical covering, cannot be expressed in words. They are the most degenerate, depraved, sadistic, morally vacuous genocidal scumfuck pieces of shit I have ever come across, and I will never stop spending as much of my time as I can to opposing them by whatever means I can
