I have a stupid #openfoam question. There is this postprocessing folder with data (minMax of the velocity field). How do I get that data (from the file data.dat) into either a #python or #JuliaLang dataframe?

@VolkerHD @rahmstorf Eigentlich eine gute Frage. Die Niederlande bauen z.B. Deiche. Auf lange Sicht wird das aber nicht helfen. Die Küstenlinie wird sich verschieben. Land wird verloren gehen.
Politisch ist das so wie mit Bauland an überflutungsgefährdeten Gebieten, ist dumm aber why not.

@DirkW21 @UlrichSchneider Naja in Frankreich gibt es auch ein sehr ungleich und ungerecht verteiltes Vermögen. Solange Gesetze quasi per Geld kaufbar sind, werden auch Generalstreiks nichts ändern 🙁.

@lpfeed Mixing strings and numbers kind a works fine, happens in the iris dataset as well. My bad if wasn't clear enough. A column of data is either strings or numbers.
Why is the format like that? Probably someone decided that this a good format (works with gnuplot I think).

@lpfeed First line title, second line header line with column names. Both start with a #.
The remaining lines show the data collected. No well defined delimiter, like a single space or a "," 🤔
The data contains numbers in the format "1.0e-02" and strings (openfoam is #CFD library 🙂)
