@TDC_Hockey @theTonyFerrari Sure why not, but not in Finland. I don't think that post trap is that much different than the ones they use in NHL, but to beat that Finns attack all together with short passes. Stretching the ice would just break your own 5 men formation.

@JhanHky Set breakouts/slow breakouts are a trap counter. You should never force an undermanned attack against a numerically superior defensive opponent. Better regroup and attack together using short passes aka the Finnish way.

@Dan64919 Then again looking back NGC has pretty solid library of games. Like really good versions of RE games, great RPGs, F-Zero, Metroid Primes etc.

@Dan64919 People seem to remember fondly N64 and Gamecube era. Me personally I kinda started to drift away from console gaming in that era until the Wii brought me back. IMO Nintendo throw themselves into a horsepower competition. With Wii they found their blue ocean

@JhanHky You didn't mention our possession game. I know that you are not an expert of Finnish fundamentals, but you really can't separate offense and defense. Because how we attack affects how we defend and vice versa.

@JhanHky yeah sure, the Finnish way is perhaps defensive, but it's about reacting the play. Priorirty is to forecheck but if you can't produce enough superior or equal attacks then 1-2-2 in the neutral is an absolute necessity. efficient fc is not possible after undermanned attacks.
