@LegoKingo Imo, his politics place him much closer to Bill in terms of morality than to any of his protagonists. He really does just think violence is awesome and writes his films that way so that they're "acceptable" to audiences. It removes a lot of the thematic weight from his work.

@LegoKingo I had this thought after seeing The Whole Bloody Affair - he's the filmic equivalent of those pedohunter youtube channels. His films are almost all about victims using violence to recapture agency from their oppressors, but that doesn't work when you're doing IDF meet and greets.

@VashKohime I think she sticks out as the weakest performance in the film but the film is a much deeper/moving text if she's in the role vs. somebody else. Seeing as how it's about a father missing time with his kid because of is "job"
