Yesterday wife asked me to bring her sweater. I brought her robe. Because I forgot what she asked, and the robe was on the top. Today, she asked for her socks. Walking, I chanted “socks, socks”. And I brought her sweater! 🙄

Yesterday we got fibre optic cable installed in the house. We’ve been slowed down to low end of ADSL for a few years now, and I’m excited for the prospect of having our internet fast and furious yet again. Good things really happen to those who wait!

My diary app’s today’s prompt is “what are my thoughts on growing older”? Well, my thoughts get really jumbled and quickly forgotten in the process of growing older, so I am not able to answer that.

From my 📷📸 archive: soldiers “comb” the area around Pakrac, east of Zagreb, for attackers who stormed a police station. The photo was used on first ever Croatian war poster, albeit without permission. https://t.co/q32u3w8zXx

Dolac Gornji, a sleepy little village perched on the mountain above Split, Croatia, comes alive every December and, like Cinderella’s pumpkin, transforms itself into a Christmas village. The rest of the year it reverts to being a pumpkin.
