Everyone talks about filling empty cups, but some cups are cracked. Some are broken.
You can pour all the encouragement, support, and inspiration you want, but until you address the cracks caused by things like stress, burnout, lack of respect, low morale, and trauma, it will keep leaking out.
Real leadership doesnβt just pour. It helps people mend.

Our favorite book, The Hungry Caterpillar, was recreated by the children using props and they had a great time doing it. The caterpillar was fed the correct food in sequence with the story, which they remembered very well. #repeatedreads#roundhay#thenest
@jw_teach I have used the ZOR programme now for 3 years. Our children use it on a daily basic. It's a great way of teaching ASC pupils about emotions, it's visual, easy to understand and my kids love it. Happy for you to PM me π
Our NEST provision is prepared for the upcoming half term. I want to express my gratitude to my talented team who helped create this amazing environment.
Happy half term.
I'm curious, how tall are you?
Today's activity included measuring our height and tracing our bodies. We were able to name so many different parts of our bodies.
I am proud of you, little owls.
This half term has been filled with so much fun and laughter in our classroom.
The little owls have made me very proud. π

A fantastic week was had in NEST. We have gained knowledge about different weather conditions and learned how to dress appropriately for each situation.
Have a fab weekend

Seeing the children use the provision areas is magical! Hearing them use the key words from Science and Geography in provision blows me away π₯°.
So proud of the little owls this week.
Today we were looking at the Preposition "on". The children did very well with their listening skills and following instructions.
In Art and Science we have been looking at Plants and trees. The children created their own plants using materials.
Today in Geography we looked at England and Wales. We ate Welsh Rarebit and Yorkshire Puddings. We looked at a map of the United Kingdom. We also enjoyed spending some time in Provision today, we used the role play area lots. π@RSch_Year1@RSch_Year2
