Enjoying the sunshine with the @rbhtherapyteam and @RBH_SALT team leads working on our shared goals and vision for Therapies. A great start to such an important piece of work! Thank you @SarahLouSLT1 for your excellent facilitating. @AliceCLockhart@ZoeHaddock@SkatingPhysio
@julessanders2@JCQuijanoCampos@QMULWHRI@NIHR @dr_woldman @mdstbarts@SekhriNeha@mut75 I hope you dont mind my comment as I hugely admire anyone who undertakes a PhD especially with PPI, however looking at the question domains I cannot help but observe the CARD-SARC looks remarkably like an Occupational Therapy questionnaire!

We need to break the cycle of staff leaving #NHS. There are things out of our control but there are some things in our control
Do we look after them?
Meet their basic needs?
Develop them?
Be flexible?
Value them?
Give autonomy?
Create diverse roles?
Recruit fairly?

I was an AHP support worker for 4 years before starting my OT training. That learning experience was as valuable to me as the whole of my OT degree! @KirstyBambrick thanks for the shout out... here is another cheer for the amazing AHP support workers at @RBNHSFT π
After 7yrs of being one I'm probably biased but..
Not only do they ease our busy caseloads & keep our patients engaging with occupations, they're the glue that keeps the team together and the department running. This week tell an AHP support worker how invaluable they are! π
