Atomic Laundry System featured on Apartment Therapy!
Obviously the model in the picture is not me 😅 but the system has been explained very well. Thanks @ZoePickburn

The fact that anyone can look at this study and think that it's because breastfed babies are smarter, rather than because people from a higher socio-economic background are more likely to breastfeed, is honestly fucking insane. https://t.co/IjMYK1Xpdx
I know very few mums of pre-school kids who either aren't in any paid work at all OR are employed full-time.
Would love opinions!
What do the phrases stay-at-home-mum and working-mum mean in 2023? Have the lines blurred, or has it always been like this and I only just noticed?
Answers on a postcard, please:
How do you define a stay-at-home-mum?
I used to think you either had a working mum or a stay-home mum but there are so many options in between!

>>I joked the other day about being a stay-home mum, even though I do paid work!
I work part-time & flexibly and I can rely on my husband and my mum to take my daughter when I need to get things done, so she isn't in nursery.
Does that make me a stay-home mum?

@RebeccaCNReid Have you tried dictation? Sometimes I go for a walk and just chat away my thoughts about whatever I need to write into my phone and some of that can be the start of a first draft!
American friends! What do you call computer lessons at school? We had IT (Information Technology) but I'm struggling to find out what you call it (for a story)
Parents! Quick show of hands (for a story) if you have an ai voice assistant (Alexa, Google Home, etc.) - do you know what parental controls are available for your device?
@J_owennuttall So sorry to hear that, it sounds really hard. Mine is 10 months old and I've been p much fine until now - this feels the same as non-pp depressive periods I've had before, so unsure whether it's ppd or not (or if there's even a definitive difference)
Serious question: what's the difference between ppd and non-pp depression? Is it just that ppd starts in the year after birth and also you literally can't take time out to heal and recover?
