.@CMShehbaz: "It's thanks to President Donald Trump's resolute and visionary leadership that hundreds of millions of lives in South Asia were saved. His timely intervention came at a decisive juncture, when two nuclear-armed neighbors stood at the brink of an all-out war — and who knows the extent of devastation that could've taken place had President Trump not stepped in at this critical moment with clarity of thought and action."
A rare September nor'easter is bearing down on the East Coast, threatening damaging winds, coastal flooding and heavy rain from the Mid-Atlantic to New England.
Wind gusts could reach 70 mph in some areas, threatening to bring down trees and power lines, while heavy rain raises the risk of flash flooding and major travel disruptions.
Along the coast, high tides could worsen flooding and severe beach erosion, with some voluntary evacuations already underway in New Jersey.
