@Lilida2000 @CrystalHope1979 Interesting. I never replace my 1 box that is used by 2 cats. I just clean mine every night. My trick is to simply be sure to scrape the walls and bottom of the pan very, very thoroughly. When I have pet sitters, I can always tell by the smell when they don't do that.

@RoundrockM @CrystalHope1979 Add a Litter Genie to your litter box area and then just dump into it each time to help with the smell.
