I got the opportunity to chat with Chief Harold Medlock, prev. of @FayettevillePD, about traffic stops, disparities, and how agencies can work on these issues. Check it out from @CNA_org JusticeTalks - https://t.co/oBMLQcwaVc
New publication from my @CNA_org colleagues Bill Rosenau and Meg McBride regarding what we do and don't know about right-wing extremism in law enforcement forces - there is a lot still to learn! https://t.co/lU9aoJdZyA
@echoechoR My slides are pretty text-sparse though - 2-3 bullets of usually 8-12 words each, for the most part (or 8-12 bullets of 1-2 words each, depending on content)
@echoechoR I often feel like I'm an underpreparer compared to others! I spent ~1 hour preparing slides for a 40 min presentation tho admittedly I was able to reuse content for ~half. But also admittedly, a solid 20 min was spent finding the perfect icons and free images to spruce it up.
Are you graduating soon with a BA/MA in criminal justice? Or do you have students in that position? Check out job postings from @CNA_org for entry BA/MA positions. We are actively recruiting/hiring into these roles!
Happy to talk about our work and what it is like to work at CNA.
As of April 1, CNA’s job application process no longer asks applicants about #salaryhistory. This is a deliberate step on CNA’s part to take concrete action to combat pay inequalities and eliminate the potential for discrimination. #careersatCNA
