@Grumbles266751 so much of these criticisms apply to fallout 3 but you rep that game for some reason lol. please give an example of any of this being in the game instead of meaningless false statements.
@Grumbles266751@NoiseTheology by far is crazy. what makes fallout 1 so much better narratively/thematically than new vegas. other than the main antagonist of the narrative and tonal consistency, i cant name a single thing i like more in the story of fallout 1 tbh.
I'm starting to learn you can't blame younger Modern Fallout fans for their taste because they simply have not experienced real CRPG's. Their experience has always been the quest marker, the chatty reddit humour and the endless grind for superficial loot. They literally have not experienced games that value your time or your intelligence. Games that punish you for being dumb and reward you for thinking for a minute. There's always another season, another skin, another type of in-game currency. If they had been as lucky as us and started in a truly Golden Age of games, things would be so much better today. It's a shame.
Might be my favorite execution of "hatred begets hatred and throughout generations it only becomes more hallow and aimless" I've seen. One of oda's best written characters to this day
I like how Tachibana was portrayed as this strange person that approaches Kiryu, in a suspicious way, which I didnt trust at first AT ALL, and Oda was first portrayed trustworthy and someone who was gonna help Kiryu out, but turned out completely opposite, truly interesting
