Ignore Benchmarks. The best way to determine if a new model is good is:
1. Remove your AGENT/CLAUDE.md
2. Remove all your skills
3. Test it on work you do everyday and give it the minimal amount of information to complete the task.
4. Judge if it was better, then add skills
I have been working on my own version of Whispr Flow. It is open-source. Still validating it for Mac, but it is very nice free alternative. https://t.co/6GoL6IgQZx
@OmriBuilds I’m assuming you made this yourself? A couple things consider using parakeet v2 for English or v3 for multimodal. It is crazy fast. Moonshine is a slower option but requires less memory. Also, if you haven’t build in AI formatting. It makes the app feel like whisprflow
@levelsio I don’t understand how we are not using people’s health data to help inform doctors. Make it easier to treat stuff before it becomes a major issue.
I recently bought an irrigation controller for my garden and orchard. After a couple days of using the official app I was very disappointed. The controller kept disconnecting and required me to delete and readd it, and the app left much to be desired for functionality.
So I did what any reasonable engineer would do. I asked AI to reverse engineer my controller and design a new web app I could control from anywhere. Then I went to sleep while it worked.
The next day I woke up to a brand new web application. I can connect to it from anywhere through Tailscale and customize any and everything.
This is what AI has made possible. If you are not satisfied with the products a company puts out, use AI to make it better and fit your situation. It can be frustrating to work with, but at the end of the day it is magical to have this capability. I cannot wait to see what future models are capable of.
@Da7_Tech My favorite is to ask it to look at an image and recreate it in blender. Fable came up with a method on its own to utilize a review agent to keep visually reviewing the model it was making until it looked like the image. This reasoning is why I still have a Claude account
