@nickhedley@MrMbosh I’ve seen a big upswing in bike commuting where I stay. Taxi fares, driven by cost of fuel, is making cycling an option for many. But bike safely, especially in morning traffic where every inch of tar and dirt has become fair play for cars, is a problem.
@nickhedley @GaylorTIPS Annualised it’s north of 2GW of energy that’s going to be installed. If a chunk of that is destined for domestic use it’s going to go a long way to drawing down the peak demand we see early morning and evening. Give it another 2 or 3 years and it’ll be significant.
