I am constantly amazed at how much people want fame and “importance” but aren’t interested in doing the actual work.
They want to be a notable writer but won’t write well and won’t read, a notable actor but won’t study films.
Feels like a displacement of priorities.
Excited to gawk at the magic that will be the stage adaptation of my essay “ My Body Betrays Me, Again” by Joseph Obel on November 21st at FemLab, The Mall. The ways in which words can move from one medium to another is astounding and always a wonder to bear witness to! 🤩
