Some of this is wishful thinking, but here is what I expect to happen soon between America and Cuba. The Cuban nation has been on the rocks, similar to Venezuela in some ways. Everybody poor and deprived of basics or in exile. Fall of Madero and recent US action precipitated a crisis for Cuba. Apparently, Raul Castro would not support a change in government away from Communism. So he is a fugitive and will be arrested. At the same time, a US rescue mission will unfold with food, fuel and medical supplies, and security forces of course. Cuban military officials have already been dialed in and will assist, not intervene. Current civilian govt officials will be temporarily detained, political prisoners will be released and a constitutional convention will be scheduled. Communism is Cuba is dead
So long as China guards and patrols the South China Sea and other waters east of the first island chain, we are all on safe grounds, but if the PLAN tries to establish military hegemony into the Western Pacific, the risk of armed conflict is high. That part of the world has been solidly within America's sphere of influence since the 1940s, paid for with blood and treasure. The mainland of East Asia is China's sphere of influence. Be a good neighbor. Peace
@globaltimesnews Isn't the nation of China dependent on a single political party, the CPC? As I see it, a single party state inevitably leads to a one-man state, a maximum leader who serves for life. As is the case with monarchies, the problem of succession arises every time.
@vtchakarova Beijing wants to replace the US as main hegemon of the Western Pacific. However, they expect to inherit it by default after America fades away & withdraws, maybe 50 years from now. I don't believe the CPC has the will for US-style, global power projection until then.
@ukraine_map Give it up, UKR is losing this war and the masters in Kiev just can't admit it. The flow of money from the West is too good, a real gravy train. Slavyansk and Kramatorsk are about to be surrounded, cut off. Kiev will not let the troops withdraw. A caldron will ensue. Sad
@333too3 Don't know about u, but my upper dental arcade looks more like a fruit eating monkey than the too-perfect "human". Our FU'd heads have been distorted by a million years of eating cooked food & talking. Meanwhile we still have the monkey's 32 teeth. Something had to give.
@RT_com Lights out for granny. First she threatens him, which is assault, then knocks his (MAGA?) hat off, which is battery. He has a perfect right to defend himself. The fact that her and her man are aggressors in a road rage incident strengthens his self defense case even further.
@parler_social Its not the apps on my phone that know all about me, its Google's back office that logs all my searches, AI prompts and more. OK by me because they use my info for good, targeted ads and feeds on YouTube and Google News.
@vtchakarova "We will replace rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism", sayeth Zohran Mamdani, newly elected Mayor of New York city. He actually believes class struggle and the transfer of wealth from rich individuals, to the proletarian collective, is viable for NYC.
Tulsi's final message refers to "politicized elements of the intelligence community". Question is, have they been expunged now that Trump has his appointees in command? Or or they still on job, pushing war with Russia and Heaven knows what else?
Today, on my final day as Director of National Intelligence, I’m releasing never-before-seen communications and documents exposing how Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus’ lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024. It’s time you know the truth.

@NaomiBinyanAtid Great Britain is in decline, and suspension of common law rights and liberties is just part of the process. Socialism always entails coercion.
@elonmusk I get the impression her action displeased some high level officials, that's why she did it at the end of her term. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump gave her the green light.
@TaraServatius Carrot and stick. The carrot is removal of the blockade and eventual release of frozen assets and ending sanctions. The hidden carrot, one Iran might not want, it an open invitation to give up their violent proxies and join the "family of nations", such as it is.
@dominictsz Workers paradise, right? Gotta hand it them though, those bullet trains are impressive. The US version of rapid transit is commercial airlines, actually faster than bullet trains.
@RealJamesWoods Somehow, in Britain the common law principle of self defense has been repealed. I guess if you use your bare hands its OK to fight back, but pick up a deadly weapon and you become the real criminal.
Ask yourself, why do socialist despise billionaires? Part of it is envy, but beyond that they hate private property even more. Karl Marx' ideology is alive and unwell.
Congratulations @ElonMusk.
Thanks to SpaceX's IPO, he's the first Trillionaire.
He didn't TAKE money from anyone. He CREATED wealth.
He launched satellites that connect even the poorest, most remote parts of the world.
Our world needs more MAKERS like Musk; fewer TAKERS like:
@WHLeavitt Looks fake, note that he started firing while perp was still on top of victim. What's real is that police rarely use batons anymore and when they shoot, its always a mag dump.
@PeterDiamandis The future is always different from what we imagined long ago. I recall Tomorrow land at Disneyland Anaheim didn't anticipate microwave ovens and remote controlled TVs, much less wi-fi and the internet. Elon's vision may happen 200 years from now, if we're lucky.
@y_oliviaxx FYI, a very pretty woman needs to show a few day-in-the-life photos to prove an image is not AI produced. Sounds odd, but the world of perceived reality is changing.
