If that's what they mean, it contradicts Catholic teaching that the fullness of truth subsists in the Catholic Church and that not all religions are equally true.
@frankmcasanova@theoscholastica Unfortunately, there are. For example, the alleged "Our Lady" reportedly announces her next appearances in advance. That seems difficult to reconcile with the Catholic understanding that genuine private revelations occur according to God's will, not on a predictable schedule.
@Mwarning515 I don’t understand why He has such empathy for people that murder Christians. Nigeria, Congo, Libya, Syria etc. And still the murderers get more sympathy than the victims.
Pope Leo visited Lampedusa today to highlight the humanitarian crisis for the migrants arriving there.
He prayed for the migrants who have died at sea, called for compassion, safe harbors and legal pathways for migrants.
He laid a wreath at a migrant cemetery, visited the “Gateway to Europe” monument, met migrant families and thanked the Lampedusans for being good Samaritans.
