If that's what they mean, it contradicts Catholic teaching that the fullness of truth subsists in the Catholic Church and that not all religions are equally true.

That seems difficult to reconcile with the Catholic understanding that genuine private revelations occur according to God's will, not on a predictable schedule.

Pope Leo visited Lampedusa today to highlight the humanitarian crisis for the migrants arriving there.

He prayed for the migrants who have died at sea, called for compassion, safe harbors and legal pathways for migrants.

He laid a wreath at a migrant cemetery, visited the “Gateway to Europe” monument, met migrant families and thanked the Lampedusans for being good Samaritans.

Tens of thousands illegal migrants have arrived in Europe via Lampedusa in the past few years.
