I get it that some consigners are worrying that agents assistants are ‘knocking’ horses off using a video without the agent themselves seeing it (not sure how this is different to agents using shortlisters)….

I’m on my way home, having taken 140+ videos today at Tatts & a couple of consigners unfortunately won’t be assessed at this sale by us as I didn’t get to them and they don’t want to put up videos online - which I get is entirely their call.

Another couple knocked off as I couldn’t get a show good enough to take a video due to the yards being busy and one consigner after taking my video asked me to come back tomorrow and redo as the horse wasn’t showing as well as at home, so could I do it again- I’m in London with clients tomorrow, so can’t do that.

Not one horse I managed to video has been added or taken off our list today by me being there, just videoed and added to the system. Consigners with no video have lost control of what the video looks like though.

And to top it off I received this message below as I was driving home from a buyer who isn’t there giving me a list off videos

I get the concerns and fully get that our approach odd but…
