Game 6 of MCP at Cancon: Play into Malekith/Hulk on Gamma Shelters and Montessi Formula. I misplace Ghost Rider early & lose him turn 2. Points get away from me & I end up going down 17-9. 4-1-1 for the weekend. Defenders are great, ignore the internet! #marvelcrisisprotocol

Game 5 of MCP at Cancon: Vs X-Force on Researcher and SHIELD Base at 15 threat. A couple of clutch Crimson Bands against Sabretooth means he's activated before doing anything turns 2 and 3 and i leverage that into a 18-8 victory. Playing for first place now. #marvelcrisisprotocol

Game 4 of MCP at Cancon: Vs Sam Avengers on Spider Portals and Researcher. Super close & super enjoyable game! Last roll of the game Wong needs to flip a single uncontested portal. 87.5% chance, fails. Ends 13-13. 3-1-0 end of day 1, 2 games to go tomorrow! #marvelcrisisprotocol

Game 3 of MCP at Cancon: Play into Midnight Suns on Incursions and Cosmic Cubes. I leverage my 5 characters vs his 4 to get more bodies on objectives and end up winning 19-12 at the end of round 5. Another strong showing for Strange and his Defenders! #marvelcrisisprotocol

MCP @ Cancon game 2: Legacy Virus & Demons Downtown vs Steve Avengers. Super slow grind with Hulk and Steve vs Ghost Rider and Cage in the centre. Ended up dice down end turn 3 with a victory to the Defenders 8-5. #marvelcrisisprotocol

#newyearnewme First Cancon since COVID hit! Playing MCP, Defenders mono-affiliation. Came up against Sentinels R1 on Researcher & Demons, ended up winning 11-3 with a clutch Helios dazing Prime on a crucial turn. #marvelcrisisprotocol

So my painter @thornspainting finished off my Blood Angel Bladeguard during an all-nighter painting session so i could use them at a tournament today... Then i had to leave T2 of the first game for a family emergency. 😫 At least they look pretty! #PaintingWarhammer #bloodangels

Played a fun 1500pt game of #babyhammer 40k against @dodgy_dave76 today; Mortifactors Astartes vs my Iybraesil Aeldari. Lots of cinematic moments but the win went to the filthy Xenos, my board control & mobility being too much for the Astartes to corral. Casual 40k is great fun!

Played in my first 40k singles tournament on the weekend! Was only 1000pts and super casual at the local GW store, but ended up undefeated over 3 games and came 3rd overall. Don't think I'll be getting into Voidweaver meta anytime soon, but these small tourneys are super fun. 🥳
