Bellevue is looking to add to the roster for the fall semester later this year, and we just won the Octane Collegiate Champs. Muffins is graduating and the spot needs to be filled.
We are looking for someone with good vibes and good experience
This is a scholarship opportunity.
@ZephyrCasts@TAMUEsports It was an honor to have you as a coach and coordinator for TAMU Apex and winning tournaments such as the Alienware clash for you. Every semester was a good one and I wil miss it a lot. End of an era.
I am so glad I was able to share my last semester of college playing Apex with two of the most amazing people I know. It was my first time playing collegiate Apex and to end 6th is something I can be proud of. Thank you @SmugPear & @Zwivfty for a wonderful semester. <3
Look at THAT!
3 SEPARATE LOBBIES. 🔥
18 GAMES OF APEX STRAIGHT THIS SATURDAY.
MP FINALS ON SUNDAY. 🔥
AN ABSOLUTE MESS OF COLLEGIATE PLAYERS.
That's how you HOST a tournament. Go big or go HOME! Shout out to the absolute PASSION in this scene. You'd think $300 was $10k. 😂
I remember in 2023 when TSMU invited @TAMUEsports to compete in an insane 25k collegiate competition. We scrambled and put together an Apex program in less than 2 months and finished 2nd overall.
For years, different iterations and players would go on to compete in Octane, TELUS, AVGL, NECC, and many one off opportunities. I'm proud to say we produced one of the most competitive teams in collegiate that maintained a level of play I'm very proud of.
I know I didn't coach em this semester, but this final competition marks the end of an era. Huge shout out to everyone that was part of the OG journey.
@fiddledude_ Thank for leading the original roster for many years. A monster of a player as both a fragger an IGL. Carried an absurd amount of weight over the years. I'm glad you picked up a few landmark wins along the way. Hope the boys made you proud this semester.
@SmugPear Stepped into some big shoes this semester taking over the IGL role. Getting 6th overall and turning the new roster around from a rough regular season is no small feat. The only member of TAMU Apex to play on ALL iterations of the Varsity/Maroon roster. The passion was always incomparable. Here's to many more cookouts and football games.
@Zwivfty From building yourself in the trenches alongside TAMU White, to picking up dubs with TAMU Maroon. A man of few words, but many bullets. I'm glad you stuck it out for as long as you did. TAMU's story of success could've never happened without you. I know you've got another semester ahead, so help out the new TAMU Maroon when you get a chance.
@NabberTv A legendary player in the collegiate space (Did you guys know this dude is a CVAL champion????). I hope the last run with Apex was as fun as you expected. I wish we had more time to see this roster develop cause I know a trophy would've been at the end of that tunnel.
@Axzeyyyy_ It's been a hot minute, but TAMU Apex would be far from complete without ya. The rock and heart of the OG roster. There's a level of community you brought to the team that has had lasting effects even after your graduation. Congratulations on your marriage. I can't wait to celebrate it with you soon.
@tythegvy The TAMU White captain and overall most passionate Apex player I've ever met. Thank you for leading the second roster. I don't think anyone else could've whipped em into shape and gotten em to finals. Congratulations again on the baby. He'll lead a goat'd TAMU Apex roster in 2043.
Shwabbster - A man I think was only in it for fun every step of the way. Probably the funniest and most loved player on any iteration of the squad. Not to mention, the reason TAMU Apex even qualified for the Alienware LAN in the first place. I'll send ya more Lewis pictures, don'tcha worry!
Lobster - THE LEGEND. THE GLUE. The undisputed fill goat and GIGA CHAD of TAMU Apex. My man never complained and always showed up when necessary. Saved both TAMU White and Maroon multiple times. Till next time brother.
TAMU White will become the new TAMU Maroon this next semester. I have faith they'll will go on to do incredible things within the collegiate Apex space, but it's going to take a lot of hard work. Who knows I might pop back in for some freelance coaching days.
It was one hell of a ride and I don't regret it in the slightest. If I was transported back to 2023, I wouldn't change a thing. Every high n low with the boys, every 2nd place, every victory, and every bit of smack from other teams. I'd go through it all.
Gig 'em Aggies.
With the end of my undergraduate degree comes the next step! 🎓

I was going to post this on the @TAMUEsports twitter but it was better coming from me since it’s me.
Ben came to me wanting to be the coach of Apex, claimed he was god some other stuff and that he was the best ever. Man egos are crazy, but if there’s one thing I fuck with it’s someone who can back up their ego. Ben has coached this team to success that I never thought would be possible for our at the time “random” Apex team. Ben coached them into a 2nd place win in the TSMU tourney and that was the fire that started the original boys.
It’s sad to see that we are losing these players and finally Ben will be graduating soon, hopefully… but he’s been an amazing coach, leader, and friend to me and this program. I’ve learned a lot from Ben and there’s points where I look at Ben as a leader and want to learn from him.
I don’t know what the future of Apex will look like at TAMU, I do know that @ZephyrCasts, @fiddledude_, @SmugPear, @Zwivfty, shwab, @Axzeyyyy_, and @tythegvy are the best group of Apex players that have walked through this school. I do pray for yalls continued success and I thank every single one of you for the time and effort you put into this program.
And with that an era comes to its end.
Over 2 years ago, I found myself scrounging together a few randoms at @TAMUEsports for their first Apex competition. If you told me back then we would become one of the best rosters in the nation, I would’ve asked you to show me a scrim result above 18th.
And now it’s all over 🥲
@fiddledude_ - Thank you for being the leader behind this team. I know the pressure of IGL comes with its own challenges, but you’ve always shown the ability to step up to the task. I wouldn’t have selected anyone else to call the shots over these last 2 years. You always elevated the team to grind more and practice harder. There’s no way the Apex roster would’ve pushed its heights without you being a part of it.
@SmugPear - My absolute goat. I wish the role of support in Apex got more discussion. From NC resets that would make your skin crawl to Conduit saves that turned our roster into a lethal weapon, you always made sure we kept going. I don’t think you’ve ever gotten enough credit for being that kind of player. Thank you for rolling w the punches. No one can replace you. Also an absolute monster of host for the TAMU recharge (a game, grilled food, and drinks).
@Zwivfty - A quiet but deadly threat. While we pushed highs across the board with the initial roster, you took us the extra mile when you joined. It was a spectacle watching you and fiddle run through rosters like a hot butter knife. Also an underrated counter-caller! Sometimes ya need one. 😉 Thank you for supporting us in our final year and putting up with the litany of brain cell comments. Oh my bad…
Litany - a tedious recital or repetitive series.
😂😂 Love ya Zack
@Axzeyyyy_ - The rock. The legend. The absolute stud of the OG Apex roster. It’s been brutal only getting to see you once in a blue moon compared to every day. This guy right here was THE VIBES. From the gas man to distracting the whole roster in grandma’s, Anthony made being a part of the roster fun. Not to mention, the man who kept our roster sane between every good and bad play. Like I said, the rock. Im happy you got to see us play one last time in San Antonio. Now we join you in the retirement home.
@tythegvy - Holy Tyguy called out on my https://t.co/PCzlWCJZwJ. Appreciate the absolute passion you’ve shown towards TAMU and Apex as a whole. I don’t think anyone else loves Apex as much as you do. Which I appreciate and completely understand. 😉 Thank you for stepping up and leading the hilarity that was TAMU White. Also for being there during my casts to keep the boys in the right spirits (whether that means them listening to you or tag teaming you). Shame there won’t be any more Aggies to coach going forward! 😂 Appreciate ya big man.
Lobster/Shwabbster - My two favorite subs. Albeit y’all’s influence goes well beyond subs at this point. It’s a shame we never got more players interested, because y’all deserved a legitimate roster to play alongside. Either way, y’all never complained and you were some of the biggest supporters any of us could’ve asked for. Thank you for supplying the vibes and delivering every time I asked. ❤️
I don’t know if TAMU will continue to field a roster moving forward. Either way it’s been a legendary run, and well worth the investment. There’s not enough words to describe it all. GG y’all!
