I can support a reduction in Council salaries. It is a new era & we are going to have to cut a lot of “nice to have” things. Will have to review every kind of taxes in future. Golf courses make an annual payment to the city=prop taxes. Pay normal water rates. Not sure about SW
Everyone involved -- Ottawa city council, hotel owner Larco & especially architect Peter Clewes -- have failed Chateau Laurier. Clewes' addition is unworthy. 'Radiator' Addition to Landmark Hotel Provokes Outrage in Ottawa https://t.co/UlqDocK4C9
@HumeChristopher Chris: Anything happening with a 50th reunion of the Tor Youth Sym trip to St Moritz in Aug 1969 from a former violinist in the orch. Google my name for details and reply
@HumeChristopher They're a couple years late in delivering their trains and street cars. Can never meet a deadline set out for them. Why go back to them?
Well the area is changing from the garment district where my dad worked from 50s to 80s to more density high rises on an arterial road. Another condo.
Chris: Have you anything about a 50th reunion of the Tor Youth Sym of our trip to St Moritz in Aug 1969 as a former TYS violinist
Wearing my pink tie today for #DayofPink. I want everyone in Waterloo, and all over the world to feel #freetobeme. We all need to work together to end homophobia, transphobia, transmisogyny, and all forms of bullying. #Waterloo#BeKind
I can completely relate to what MP Philpott says in her interview about speaking the truth! It's what my constituents expected of me and why at times I didn't support certain recommendations put forward by some on Council. I understand how she feels.

Well done @debbiechapman1 for fighting to keep the LPAT Support Center open and active in helping the needs of citizens who may be involved in an LPAT appeal.
Happy #WorldWaterDay! While we are fortunate in Kitchener to have access to clean, affordable water and sanitation services, so many others go without. Today is a good day to reflect on how we can all be stewards of our water resources and advocate for everyone's access to water
Thank you @ConfedClub for the invitation to speak with you today about the many ways that insurance brokers serve both their clients and their communities! #brokeradvantage@IBACanada
It’s official schedule 10 of Bill 66 is dead. I want to thank the thousands of people who spoke out to protect the Greenbelt, water, farmland and green space. Protecting the people and places we love is not red tape. Bill 66 is still deeply flawed. #onpoli
I was also a regular volunteer as a city councillor with former Coun Yvonne Fernandes when we went out during the March promo awareness campaign for #MealsOnWheels
The @RegionWaterloo recently passed a resolution calling on all MPP’s to pass Bill 66. Fair and Open Tendering will save taxpayers money and restore fairness back into public procurement for local infrastructure projects. #Onpoli#wrpoli
