Check out our recent work on all the cool ring opening polymerizations we've been able to catalyze using Chromium(III) Diamino-bis(phenolate) catalytic systems! #RSCPoster#RSCCat#RSCInorg@MemorialUChem
Our latest in @ChemicalScience reveals tuning of planar Bi compounds + controlled polymerization catalysis. Congrats to lead author @THannah77 and all involved. Special thanks to @KozyCanuck and @jasonmasuda groups for working with us! @DalhousieChem

Forever grateful for the mentorship and teaching Steve gave to me at Mt. A. I was called Cletus (being from PEI) and later upgraded to Potato Man, I’ve never been more honoured to have that nickname. You’ll be missed Steve Westcott, will never forget everything you taught me!
@DaltonTrans@MemorialUChem Thank you! Key takeaways from this project so far is that we have been able to perform the catalyzed ROCOP of epoxides and cyclic anhydrides using our previous chromium (III) catalyst systems, and have also shown they can undergo ROP of rac-lactide and make terpolymers with CO2!

New science building at MUN looking nice! Also being able to see the whale skeleton right outside the window from our new office is a bonus! (Photo shows the sheer size of it!)
