Thought it was just a coincidence that Lohen and Dottore share very similar explicit traits but even their stories mirror each other to an extent; both are defined by an overwhelming dissatisfaction with their own limitations and a refusal to accept them while still abstaining from using shortcuts

The difference is that while Dottore responded to that feeling by abandoning his humanity and treating everyone around him as tools, Lohen’s struggle is about preserving himself and his humanity despite everything trying to break him and I respect that a lot
