One of the central themes of [ PROXY ] is the human body in the process of transformation.

If the garments in this collection suggest transition and mutation indirectly—through artificial synthetic fabrics with fur inserted into them—then Surgical Proxy Plate, created in collaboration with MIQ, visualizes intervention into the human body in a more direct form.

Today, the human body and the conditions of human existence are being changed, or even modified, through technology.

This transformation is not necessarily something humans have desired.
And yet, it is not something we can fully avoid.

Surgical Proxy Plate appears between protection and invasion, ornament and procedure, as a sign of a body forced into transformation.

The piece can be viewed in person at chloma 2026-2027 [ PROXY ] showroom, open through July 6.
