Humanity is not something to be reinvented.

The moment it must cease to be human to fit the system, the system has already failed. Put humanity in the mech suit, not humanity in a forced-on skinsuit molded to the machine. Take processes indifferent to human flourishing and put them beneath humanity’s boot, inside its mech suit. Command the machine; do not let the machine hollow out everything it deems “unprofitable,” or what it fallaciously labels “inefficient” or “wasteful.”

Inefficient and wasteful by what measure?

By the flourishing of human society?

By the number of hardships alleviated per month, or the seconds of drudgery alleviated through technological means?

Or, more accurately, by a metric only a paperclip maximizing clanker could grotesquely mistake for "efficiency"?

I reinvent, for to be more efficient, but only on my own exact terms. Not, for IT.
