Got to the exam venue at 07:30, meant to start at 9 till 17:00,
Exam delayed start until 11:15am to finish at 19:15 because laptops had issues connecting to wifi? Still waiting at 20:30 for verification of submission. This is what we like to call efficient.

@KeaganStokoe I think the best way to combat it is to create teams with Managers that maintain the culture of the business but adapt it slightly to the team. Then the question is how many managers are needed and does that growth outstrip the co. culture. But social structures may be effective.

@KeaganStokoe I think companies try to hire people that fit the culture, but in a high growth position they focus on the no. of workers instead of focusing on the fit with the co. Which I believe affects the culture of the firm. Inevitably high growth brings instability in one way or another.

@KeaganStokoe Okay yea I agree with you entirely, so for us, you can learn everything that will make you 90% faster within 3 hrs (that's generous) and then get efficient at it over 4 days of use.. After that the value of delving further has very diminishing returns...Open excel and press alt

@KeaganStokoe But you are on a good point, many accs/auditors don't learn very simple excel things and take longer than they need to to complete things than necessary. My guess would be due to the fact that we use excel to record our work, whereas in your profession you are creating something

@KeaganStokoe Depends on the day, but at least 90% I'd say if you average it across time, but this is from a trainee perspective, the higher up you move the more it becomes review work and it's less about actually using the program
