I always find myself looking for Cha Woongki, and I keep telling Ate @gksldi16 , “There’s something different about him lately. He’s not the usual Woongki I know.”

Maybe it’s because I’m an extrovert myself, and I know what it’s like to suddenly go quiet, to withdraw, and to lose the energy you once had. Sometimes, the people who laugh the loudest, smile the brightest, and bring the most happiness to others are also the ones silently carrying battles we know nothing about.

And that’s something I wish more people would understand.

Just because someone is naturally cheerful doesn’t mean they’re happy all the time. Just because someone is everyone’s sunshine doesn’t mean they never experience darkness themselves. Even the brightest souls need someone to be their light sometimes.

Woongki, thank you for being honest and vulnerable with us. I know it isn’t always easy to admit that you’re struggling, especially when people are so used to seeing you as the happy, energetic person in the room.

But sweetheart, please remember that you don’t owe the world your happiness every single day. You are allowed to be quiet. You are allowed to feel tired. You are allowed to have days when you don’t feel like yourself.
