Sheikh Ali Jaber was reciting verses from Surah Al-Furqan, and the elderly man sitting and praying behind him was Sheikh Abdullah Khayyat, may God have mercy on him. This was because his health was poor, and he always prayed sitting down due to his advanced age and illness, as he couldn't stand.

When Sheikh Ali Jaber reached this verse in Surah Al-Furqan:

"And when it is said to them, 'Prostrate to the Most Merciful, they say, 'And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to what you command us?' And it increases them in aversion."
