It's insane to me how quickly things have changed

- In 2024, I fully hated Xbox for going multiplat and almost killing Tango Gameworks while I praised PlayStation for Astro Bot, Stellar Blade, and Helldivers 2

- By 2025, Xbox was fully dead to me. I did not touch that console at all. I was exclusively a PS5/PC player

- Fast forward to 2026:

Xbox
-Got rid of all the shitty leadership
-Got rid of all their shitty studios and devs
-Brought back exclusivity
-Rebranded
-Updated achievements
-Actually has a solid lineup of games
-Pulled out the whip and is obligating studios to actually make games we care about

PlayStation
-Went full feminist/fuck you chuds mode
-Went full corporate asshole
-Went full fuck your feelings mode
-Thinks they are too big to fail
-Their devs are trying to "own" chuds and haters online
-Worst showing at the "not E3"
-Doesn't care about even their most loyal fans anymore
-Got out of physicals
-Got out of PC
-Double down on shitty live service games
-Double down on messaging

SONY is sending out emails updating and reminding people of their PlayStation terms. short version what it says:

- You don't own your digital games, you rent a license
- If a account closed or banned your games are gone, even paid ones
- PlayStation can record your chats, clips, ip address
- Clips you share, they can sell and put ads on and you get no cut
- their liability is capped at £100! This means if Sony screws something up and it costs you money, the most they'll pay you back is £100, no matter how much you actually lost
