Preface:
These are just my personal thoughts about the so-called “50% phi-nong status”—the in-between line of sisters and lovers. Maybe not everyone will agree with this, and that’s okay.
After all, it’s all about perspectives, points of view, and the way we each feel and see things differently.
Also… a small warning: this is going to be a long, emotional ramble. But if you’re willing to read it with an open heart, then welcome in.

I just know… why they are so intended to stand in that 50% phi-nong status—the in-between line of sisters and lovers. Because for them, each other is too precious… precious to the point of not wanting to lose one another, anyhow, anytime, in this lifetime, no matter what.

For them, Englot is not just a ship, not a business, not a brand. It’s too personal for them, too sacred. They respect their relationship. They respect each other—as a person, as an individual. They give so much value to their connection, their love, and to one another as human beings.

I would say… they’re too afraid to take a step further. Not because they don’t feel something deeper, but because they do. And they’re afraid of losing it all—afraid that if they name it or frame it like a romantic relationship, it might end like one someday. And they can’t afford that. They can’t put their bond on the line, can’t trade this love, this connection, for the risk of a possible heartbreak. And they’re not the "bravest soldiers" in this matter, at least not yet… I think.

Because they’ve already walked through so many phases—falling, aching, healing, even letting go. It’s not like they haven’t felt those intense, shifting feelings that bring people into love, or tear them apart. They have. But still, they chose this space… this 50% line. That’s not fear. That’s choosing presence over possession.

That’s why they’re not behaving, serving, or doing fan service like other shipped couples. Because for them, this was never a business to gain anything from a third person. For them, this is personal. For them, this is life. And it has to stay that way—forever.

And all the moments, all the emotions, all the incidents and phases we witnessed—the witnessing itself was just collateral. These things happened naturally between them, not for anyone to see. But because they became public figures, we got the chance to witness it all. That’s all. This whole “shipping” thing wasn’t planned, in their case. It wasn’t staged. It wasn’t even imagined. It all began almost accidentally—within 12 or 24 hours. It was almost like this: when one night ended and the morning came… boom!! They became a trending shipped couple! And it’s clear that from the beginning, theirs wasn’t for business. It just happened. Pure. Unfiltered. Unscripted. Unplanned. Unintentional.

Maybe this 50% isn’t a pause or a fear. Maybe it’s a space to breathe. To grow. To keep learning each other. Because they’re still becoming. Still unfolding. And maybe loving each other without rushing to define it—that’s the most precious part.

And remember what our Chinese fans once said—“Company is the longest confession of love.” ❤️✨
