i arrived at work one morning carrying a large container of food because i had decided to stop buying lunch every day. i had prepared rice, chicken, vegetables, and enough fruit to last me until evening. my workmate looked inside the container and joked that i had brought food for the entire department.
at lunchtime, i opened my container and started eating while checking some work messages. my boss walked past, stopped at my desk, and looked at the food. he asked whether i had cooked everything myself, and i proudly told him that i had prepared it the previous evening.
